Finding the hotel upon arriving in Beaune without a local map was the biggest challenge, but after we checked in everything met or exceeded our expectations. The hotel was charming, the staff very friendly, and the room was clean and quaint (of course smaller than US standard but met the need). The only concern for some would be that there is no lift/elevator so if you have heavy bags you may want to request a room on the first floor.
